‘Realife Networks’

It concentrates on supporting people with a learning difficulty to build a life in their own community through the use of ‘support circles’, community mapping and a 1001 other techniques to help build inclusive communities. This has led to the development of a community theatre project (Brentwood Realife Theatre), arts projects, cafe services, 'Hoursworth' Supported Employment and a successfull partnership with Sawyers Church, People First and other local groups. Frontline has also developeda wnderful project with colleagues in Kula, Bulgaria in recent years, improving the lives of people with a learning

The project was funded by a Joint Finance grant from South Essex Health Authority of c. £43,000 (1999-2002) and ended in March 2002. The Essex Learning and Skills Council provided funding to continue aspects of the project to September 2003. Frontline Partnership Ltd became fully independent from Realife in 2005 and is, in our view, one of the most interesting set-ups concentrating on supporting people with high support needs in the UK.
