Realife's Director, Tony Phillips has been setting up social enterprises since his early work in Cambridge in the mid 1980's with Rowan and Snake Hall Farm and we are still setting up new social firms now.
Our latest ventures are Realife Events Management,Cluzion Club, DIgs and the Liberation Partnership with ten new enterprises in development and registered at Realife at any one time.
Realife has managed a number of large scale development and research projects in the employment field including the Essex Welfare to Work Joint Investment Plan; the creation of Workskills (Essex) as a new provider services consortiuum; the setting up of Into Employment; the three year ESF national 'Working Out' project and the three year ESF 'Leonardo' QuiP (supported employment quality in practice)programme in recent years).
Realife researched and wrote four of the course modules for the 'Diploma in Supported Employment' and managed the ESF Horizons 'Youthin' and 'Diploma' research programmes. |
Events management
Originall funded by the Herts Community Foundation, Realife has created a team of people capable of providing an events management service for the Trust, for our partner agencies and projects, and any other organisation or individual that needs our help. Past and current events include: Stortford Music Festival; Cluzion Club; national; regional and local conferences; Greenstage at Hatfield Forest (National Trust) and Cedar Park (Broxbourne Council; Saffron Walden MIND festival; National Brokerage Network regional forums, Partners in policy making courses, wide range of advocacy, brokerage and social enterprise courses and seminars
