The aim of all our work is to build a more inclusive society.
The international inclusion movement provides Realife with a rich
source of inspiration, research and training tools, project ideas and good friends.
Realife employed six inclusion workers in the areas of Harlow, Uttlesford, Braintree, Chelmsford, Epping and Tendring for three years as part of a large scale development project with Essex County Council from 2005-2008. The role of these inclusion workers is to work alongside people with a learning disability to look at ways of that person being included in their own society using facilities and resources that everybody else has access to.
Realife has developed or supported a wide range of community projects over the years including the Stortford Music Fesival; Cluzion Music; Greenstage at Hatfield Forest, Actability; Snap Youth Theatre and Gorsefield Study Centre that actively build inclusion by bringing people together to share time, space and above all, fun.
