Realife provides a range of consultancy services to voluntary, statutory and private sector agencies throughout the UK although in recent years we have made a policy decision to only work with individuals and organisations that are committed to change but need hands-on, 'how to',action focused input.
Tony Phillips spent a number of years working with a national consultancy agency that was continually asked to work for clients that had no intention of implementing change programmes but wanted to be seen to be doing something whilst wasting substantial sums of public money in the process.
With the roll out of the 'Valuing People' national strategy and the current pilot projects on self-determined services and the use of Indivdual Budgets, there is a real need for practical reality-based consultancy to ensure people's lives change for the better.
